What is SameShift?
SameShift is a free website for finding hourly jobs and applying for them with friends. Instead of filling out applications alone, you invite the people you'd like to work with and apply as a group. You can still apply on your own any time.

What it costs
Nothing for job seekers. One location is free, with unlimited job posts. If you have 2–5 locations, it's $49 per month. 6-15 locations are $149 per month, and 16-50 locations are $300 per month. Companies with 51 or more locations can contact our sales team. Applying together does not guarantee everyone is hired. Each person is reviewed on their own.

What is SameShift?

How does applying with friends work?
Pick a job, start a crew, and invite friends with a link or code. Choose who is applying, then submit one application. The employer reviews each person on their own and decides who to interview and hire. Applying together does not guarantee that everyone is hired.
How old do I need to be?
You must be 16 or older to use SameShift. We do not allow accounts for people under 16.
Is SameShift free for job seekers?
Yes. SameShift is free for people applying for jobs. For employers, one location is free, with unlimited job posts.
Do I need an account to look at jobs?
No. You can browse open jobs and see the pay before you sign up. You can start an application, including a crew, before you create an account. A free account is required to send it, and that account is created on the application itself.
Can I apply by myself?
Yes. Every job has an Apply Solo option. You can also build a crew and apply to other jobs together.
Where are the jobs?
Jobs are listed by city on the Open Jobs page. We add employers over time, so what you see depends on which local shops have posted openings. Browse by city to see what is open near you.
Will my friends and I be interviewed and hired together?
That is up to each employer. Some are happy to interview a group together. Every person is still reviewed on their own, and there is no guarantee that everyone in a crew is hired.
I run a business. How do I hire through SameShift?
One location is free, with unlimited job posts. Then review people who apply on their own and crews who apply together. Paid plans depend on how many locations you have. See the Employers page for current pricing.
